About
You’ve stumbled onto my online portfolio. By now you’ve discovered that my name is Joshua Arnold and I have quite the passion for technology, collaboration, and learning.
People often ask me what exactly it is that I do and I respond with: How much time do you have?
For starters, I’m a lifetime learner. I am always looking for something new and exciting to learn and add to my toolkit. If I’m not learning something, then chances are you’ll find me teaching. Driven by this passion for learning, I am well-known for building learning organizations and communities everywhere that I go and currently act as the Director for Revolutionary Networks.
Software Designer
I am a Software Architect and Project Manager in a variety of industries and technologies. I’m interested in Software Architecture, requirements gathering, business analysis, design patterns, code generation, information and data modeling using Object Role Modeling (ORM), and model-driven development.
I’m particularly interested in streamlining development processes and increasing quality with various development methodologies (e.g. agile, scrum), technologies, and development strategies (domain-driven design, test-driven devleopment, micro code generation, etc.). I’m what you would call a Technology enthusiast and I’m a huge advocate of the importance of team integration.
I have had experience through every aspect of the software development life cycle. I’ve worked on a variety of projects and I’ve had the privilege of holding numerous titles. Here’s a sampling:
- Board Member, Bridge Academy Charter High School
- Security Developer, IBM
- Director, Revolutionary Networks
I currently work at ProAce Technology Services as a Systems Architect.
